Emerald is the #1 Shirt brand in Sri Lanka and has always positioned themselves to be a shirt crafted for the Gentleman. However, there’s a new shirt brand that enters the market almost every day with a “Me Too” strategy copying comms and positioning of Emerald. The Brand had to break through the clutter and further establish as the brand for today’s gentleman.
LiCC, Sri Lanka’s leading locally manufactured denim brand, was launching a water repellent collection and we were asked to work on a Key Visual for communications. Our Approach was to create harmony with water repellent plants and water repellent fabric. Afterall, denims are ideal when you mean adventure.
Positioned with The Gentleman’s Instinct, we initiated the webisodes with the Brand Ambassador of Emerald, Mahela Jayewardene. Our objectives were to share content that is in line with the brand purpose of Emerald, which is to create a better gentleman. The series of webisodes shed light on some of the most important aspects of life that require attention, but largely ignored.
